So after six painful months of travelling with the Croucher she decided to increase my salary and ordered me to live with her until my contract is over. Horrendous. Not only this but she has begun a blog in which I receive abuse more often than is pleasing. Recently I have been contemplating writing my own blog, but I had no idea what I’d actually write about, until reading the latest Crouch entry and was inspired. Retaliation will be the theme.
This was sparked by the comment ‘Han and Charlie appear to be in the “we’ve just thrown up Christmas” camp, referring to our festive decorating style. Excuse me! Myself and the lovely housemate Charlie enjoy many a Christmas deccy and therefore do not restrict ourselves to a colour scheme. We tried this once before in my house, and NEVER AGAIN. The look on Charlie’s face when I asked how she felt about a Christmas colour scheme was one of pure terror. She explained how she thought I was going to suggest one, and didn’t know quite how to react. She really should have realised that I am most definitely against anything of the sort, considering how us two came up with the idea of creating our own rug for the lounge. A project to make Neil Buchanan proud, especially as we planned on pom-poms. Something that did not go down well with the Crouch.
I feel Laura cannot be trusted with decoration of any kind as it was she who stuck a vile poster on my wardrobe. One Direction. Or 1D if you’re down with the kids. I mean, they seem like lovely boys, but how irritating is that song? “Don’t need make up, to cover up”...the cheese is just too much. I’m dreading the post-Christmas playlist that will hit our house as it will no doubt consist solely of Olly Murs. I am reliably informed by the housemates that he’s released a new album in time for Santa to deliver it. Throughout our whole time travelling, whenever Laura plugged in to her Ipod it was ALWAYS Olly. Oh no, I lie, she occasionally broke the trend. With High School Musical. So I now fear the worst, six more months of the Murs. And this time it’s worse. Charlie Bate is a fan too. Help. Please. It could be worse I suppose, it could be One Direction. Oh wait, Crouch mentioned the other day how she really wants the One Direction album but is just too embarrassed to buy it herself. AAAArrrggghh.
